Effective: Draft — pending attorney review

Privacy

This document is a plain-language summary of the practice's privacy posture. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and does not constitute legal advice. Final language will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

1. Who this notice is from

Hypocenter Initiative, based in Sedona, Arizona, United States. Written contact only: office@hypocenterinitiative.com.

2. What information the site collects

The public website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party embeds. It sets no tracking cookies. Standard web-server access logs may be retained by the hosting provider for a limited period.

When an applicant submits the application form, the site collects the information the applicant chooses to provide: name, email address, city and country of residence, age range, written responses to the application questions, and the acknowledgement selections. This information is stored in a private database used only for reviewing and responding to the application.

3. Why the information is used

Application information is used solely to review the application, to reply personally, and — if the applicant is accepted — to administer the private working relationship.

4. Who has access

Application information is read by the founder. Written correspondence between the founder and members is kept private and is not shared with third parties, except where required by law or where necessary for the operation of core services such as email delivery and secure storage. Service providers used to operate the site (for example, hosting, database, and email) are bound by their own contractual and privacy obligations.

5. Retention

Applications that do not result in an engagement are retained for a limited period for review purposes and then deleted on request. Records of active engagements are retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards for administrative, tax, and legal purposes.

6. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you submitted through the application form by writing to office@hypocenterinitiative.com. Requests will be handled within a reasonable time. Legal record-keeping obligations may prevent deletion in some cases; you will be told when this applies.

7. International visitors

The practice is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, be aware that your information will be processed in the United States. By submitting information through this site, you consent to that processing.

8. Children

This service is intended for adults. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under eighteen.

9. Changes

This notice may be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
